What is DIRECT- TM Basic Term?
It is a regular premium protection plan which covers you against death, Total and Permanent Disability* (TPD) and Terminal Illness (TI). It is a direct purchase insurance plan that can be purchased without seeking financial advice.

* DIRECT—TPD Rider is a compulsory rider to DIRECT—TM Basic Term. Payment of the TPD benefit will reduce the sum assured of DIRECT—TM Basic Term. The rider will expire at the policy anniversary on which the life assured is age 65.

Coverage up to age 85
DIRECT— TM Basic Term provides you with a choice of 3 coverage options:
- 5-year term with guaranteed renewal privilege up to age 85;
- 20-year term; or
- Up to age 65.
Guaranteed renewal privilege
Renew1 your coverage period without any medical underwriting, when your selected policy term has ended.
1 Guaranteed renewal privilege is available for policy terms of 5 years and the last renewal age is 80 years old. Premiums at each renewal are non-guaranteed and are based on the life assured’s attained age. Other terms and conditions apply.
Added protection
To provide you with greater protection, DIRECT—TM Basic Term comes with an optional DIRECT—Critical Illness (CI) Accelerator Rider2 that covers 30 CIs, up to age 65.
2 Premium rates for DIRECT—CI Accelerator Rider are level and non-guaranteed. Tokio Marine Life Insurance Singapore Ltd. (TMLS) reserves the right to change the premium rate by giving 30 days’ written notice.

Kindly obtain the required product disclosures and seek advice from a financial adviser before making a commitment to purchase this plan. As buying a life insurance policy is a long-term commitment, an early termination of the policy usually involves high costs and the surrender value, if any, that is payable to you may be zero or less than the total premiums paid.
