CSR 2024

Continued Supports for the Drunk Driving Victims

Tokio Marine Safety Insurance (Thailand) PCL has annually provided scholarships for physically challenged victims of accidents caused by drunk driving to encourage well-being of the individual or education of the victims’ children for 18 consecutive years.

Support for the procurement of medical equipment

Tokio Marine Safety Insurance (Thailand) PCL along with the Southern Region Executive Team, has donated a sum of 100,000 Baht to Hat Yai Hospital. The donation aims to support the procurement of medical equipment and facilities.

Donating essential goods to the Baan Rachawadee Foundation

Tokio Marine Safety Insurance (Thailand) PCL, in collaboration with the Office of Insurance Commission (OIC) and the insurance business sector, under the project "OIC and the Insurance Business Sector Join Hands to Fulfill Children's Dreams," donated consumable goods to the Ratchawadee Home Foundation in Nonthaburi Province. In this event, the company donated various essential consumable goods necessary for the care of children and patients under the foundation's care. This activity is part of the company's commitment to contribute to the development of the community and society for a better future. Providing essential goods is considered important support in improving the quality of life.

Donating computers for educational purposes

Tokio Marine Safety Insurance (Thailand) PCL, in collaboration with Beauty Gems Group and its affiliates, and Global Technology Integrated Co., Ltd., donated 50 computers to Wat Samrong School in Nakhon Chai Si District, Nakhon Pathom Province. This donation aims to enhance the educational activities and teaching of Wat Samrong School, improve the quality of education, and support the development of students' learning skills. Additionally, it promotes a society of learning

Support Children and Youth Education

provided the annual sponsorship for Thai students nationwide who have talented skills but lack of funding. This is to carry on Thai students’ education opportunities in the highest level because education is important for a country to grow.

Offering Kathina robes to build a temple hall

Tokio Marine Safety Insurance (Thailand) PCL Participated in the annual Kathina robe offering ceremony in 2024 to raise funds for the construction of a temple hall at Wat Pa Sri Phon Thong, Ban Waeng Tai, Waeng Subdistrict, Phon Thong District, Roi Et Province. The ceremony was attended by devoted individuals, business partners, customers, executives, and employees. A total of 720,647 baht was collected, with 100,000 baht contributed by the company and 620,647 baht from executives, employees, agents, brokers, and other devoted individuals.

Reinforcing its commitment as a responsible corporate citizen, the Company lends its support of essential items for government officials on various occasions.

Support and uplift the wellbeing of the underprivileged children.

Tokio Marine Safety Insurance’s northern region branches led employees and executives to participate in philanthropic activity of supporting the underprivileged orphanage children at Light for Kids Foundation in Chiang Mai. Lunch and ice cream were provided in addition to several necessary items for daily usage.

The Light for Kids Foundation is home to orphans and underprivileged children aged between 5 and 17 years old. This activity was part of support to empower the sensitive group in the society.

Education support for people with visual impairment

The Company’s executives and employees in the northeastern region supported the education of 90 visually impaired individuals from kindergarten – 9th grader children. In addition, the team also helped build a flood barrier to prevent the school building from submerged in the rainy season.

Support Children and Youth Continued Education through Ruamchit Normklao Foundation (for Children and Youth) under Her Majesty’s Royal Patronage

In collaboration with the Ruamchit Normklao Foundation (for Children and Youth) under Her Majesty's Royal Patronage, the Company provided annual sponsorships for talented yet underprivileged Thai students across the nation. This initiative aims to ensure continued access to higher education opportunities, as education is crucial for the country's growth and development. By supporting these gifted students who face financial constraints, we strive to nurture their potential and empower them to contribute to the country’s progress. Tokio Marine Safety Insurance has supported such an educational program for over 30 years.

Support Inclusive Activities and Promote Health and Well-being for the Company’s Employees

Insurance Futsal Participation

On Saturday, October 28, 2023, our employee futsal team participated in the Insurance Futsal Competition and successfully won the 1st runner-up prize. There was a total of 15 teams from insurance companies participating in the competition.

The Insurance Futsal Competition is organized annually by the Insurance Member Club, the Non-Life Insurance Association. The main objectives are to promote unity, strengthen good relations between insurance companies, and promote employees’ health and sportsmanship.
