Sign-Up Process

1. I did not receive the confirmation email after signing up on the website, what should I do?

You may get in touch with us via the Contact Us button. Key in all required information, select “Sign-Up” in the dropdown menu and input your message. A representative will contact you for further assistance.

2. I cannot submit/complete my application on your website, what should I do?

3. I want to update my contact details for the policy, how can I do so?

You can get in touch with us via the Contact Us button at the bottom of webpage. Select "Sign-Up", input your message and indicate the contact details you would like for us to update in the provided template.

4. Why didn’t I get the MyTengah Smart-Home Protection policy document after signing-up on the website?

A confirmation acknowledgment email on the sign-up should be sent to you. You can get in touch with us via the Contact Us button at the bottom of webpage if you did not receive the acknowledgment email. You will receive the policy document, after the payment for your MyTengah Smart-Home Protection on the email payment link is completed. The email payment link will be sent within 30 days of your BTO flat key collection date.

5. I want to enquire about my MyTengah Smart-Home Protection application, where can I find my e-reference number?

You can use the e-reference number in the confirmation acknowledgment email for any enquiries after submission.

6. How do I know my MyTengah Smart-Home Protection application is successful?

You will receive a confirmation email with an e-reference number after a successful submission.

7. Why am I required to resubmit my MyTengah Smart-Home Protection application despite getting a confirmation email?

Your submitted particulars may not be the same as your Centralised Cooling System sign-up details. We would like to request that you sign up again with the same particulars you used for the Centralised Cooling System.

8. Can I use my spouse’s or family member’s particulars to apply for my MyTengah Smart-Home Protection?

MyTengah Smart-Home Protection is part of your Centralised Cooling System’s entitlement with SP Home; it will be tied to the same applicant who signed up for Centralised Cooling System.

9. I am facing difficulty opening up the completed application form in the email. What can I do?

MyTengah Smart-Home Protection

1. When will my MyTengah Smart-Home Protection be effective?

Your MyTengah Smart-Home Protection will be effective, after the payment for your MyTengah Smart-Home Protection on the email payment link is completed. The email payment link will be sent within 30 days of your BTO flat key collection date.

2. Can I choose/change the coverage options for my flat under MyTengah Smart-Home Protection?

The coverage option is tagged to your flat type as part of the Centralised Cooling System sign-up by SP Home.

3. How long is my MyTengah Smart-Home Protection policy valid for?

Your MyTengah Smart-Home Protection coverage is valid for 3 years after the payment for your MyTengah Smart-Home Protection on the email payment link is completed. The email payment link will be sent within 30 days of your BTO flat key collection date.

4. What is the difference between HDB fire insurance and MyTengah Smart-Home Protection?

HDB Fire Insurance covers the cost of reinstating damaged internal structures like walls, fixtures, as well as areas built and provided by HDB.

MyTengah Smart-Home Protection offers you protection for the contents of your home such as your built-in cabinets, furniture, appliances, personal belongings etc.,. For more details, please refer to the product summary on the sign-up website.

5. Does MyTengah Smart-Home Protection cover water damage to my home?

MyTengah Smart-Home Protection covers damages to your home caused by the bursting or overflowing of domestic water tanks and pipes, excluding homes that have been unoccupied for more than 30 days.

6. If my flat is targeted by robbers, can I claim my losses from MyTengah Smart-Home Protection?

MyTengah Smart-Home Protection will protect your home contents against theft, resulting from a forced entry or exit from your home. It does not cover losses resulting from theft by visitors or theft that happened in an unsecured property.

7. What is the process for me to submit a claim?

Centralised Cooling System

1. When will my Centralised Cooling System offered by SP Home be ready?

2. I have signed up for Centralised Cooling System but I did not receive any emails to sign up for my MyTengah Smart-Home Protection, what should I do?

3. Can I change the policy in force date to match my shift-in date?

Your MyTengah Smart-Home Protection is activated after paying for your MyTengah Smart-Home Protection on the email payment link, sent within 30 days of your BTO flat key collection date.

4. I have terminated my BTO flat application; how can I terminate my MyTengah Smart-Home Protection?

The MyTengah Smart-Home Protection is an entitlement that is offered as part of your Centralised Cooling System sign-up offered by SP Home. Please reach out to your SP Sustainability Ambassador or email tengahcooling@spgroup.com.sg to inform them of the termination of your Tengah BTO flat.
