Tokio Marine Life Malaysia (TMLM) is proud to sponsor 100 pairs of shoes and 100 pairs of arm glove covers for the students of SOLS Solar Academy. These essential items will aid the students in their daily activities, providing comfort and protection as they pursue their education and vocational training. This initiative is a testament to TMLM’s unwavering commitment to give back to the community and empower young learners.
Kampung Solar
Tokio Marine Life Malaysia and the Kampung Solar Project: Making a Difference for the Kampung Jenit Orang Asli Community
Kampung Solar is an initiative that aims to provide sustainable electricity through solar home systems to indigenous villages in Malaysia, and aims to empower underserved communities and improve their quality of life through sustainable energy. On 11 October 2024, 26 of our dedicated staff travelled to Kampung Jenit in Pahang to deliver renewable energy solutions to the indigenous Jakun tribe. We successfully installed solar home systems in 20 households and 1 community hall, benefiting a total of 66 Orang Asli villagers.
