Why do you need Plate Glass Insurance?
Glass is very widely used in our buildings nowadays. It can also be costly especially it is tinted, embossed with lettering or designs on the glass, or more so when it is specially treated for commercial use. Breakage of it can result in considerable replacement cost.
This policy insures plate glasses typically found in showrooms, offices or buildings. It provides cover for:
- An “All Risks” basis, subject to the exclusions stated
- Any glass broken by fracture extending through the entire thickness of the glass as a result of an accident or misfortune not otherwise excluded
