1923 - Incorporation of The Asia Insurance Co Ltd in Singapore.
1957 - Tokio Marine started its Singapore operations through a General Agent.
1977 - Incorporation of The Tokio Marine and Fire Insurance Company (Singapore) Pte. Limited in Singapore.
2007 - Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Co., Ltd (“TMNF”) acquired a majority stake in Asia General Holdings Limited. The Asia Insurance Co Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of AGH, was renamed TM Asia Insurance Singapore Ltd.
We also have a branch office in Brunei Darussalam. Regulated by Brunei Darussalam Central Bank, Tokio Marine Insurance Singapore Ltd (Brunei Branch) is the sole international insurer in Brunei Darussalam.
