Yes, you can. MyTengah Family Protect is an exclusive plan and specially curated for all Tengah residents. You are eligible as long as you have signed up for BTO flat in Tengah with the Housing Development Board with a valid Tengah address provided during your online sales journey through the TMLS website.

Yes. You only need to pay for one premium for MyTengah Family Protect that includes coverage for your whole family (legal spouse, and children below 19 years of age on the next birthday). For more information, please refer to your Product Summary via the website.

Yes, provided your parents and/or parents-in-law have already moved into your flat unit in the Tengah township. In the event of a claim on the policy, we will require the claimant’s proof of residency which reflects the same registered home address in Tengah on their NRIC. Please note that the prevailing age of your parents and/or parents-in-law must not be above 86 on their next birthday to be eligible for the Family Protection Benefit. Hence, they will only be covered upon move-in into the Tengah BTO flat.

You are not required to undergo a medical check-up when you apply for MyTengah Family Protect. You will only be required to answer a simple health declaration questionnaire in the application.

Your claims can take up to 14 calendar days, depending on the complexity of the claims and the completeness of the submitted documentation.

Please note that the email address must be the same as the email address provided in your application form.

There is no penalty if you terminate your MyTengah Family Protect policy during the free-look period of 14 days, which starts 7 days from the date of email notification from TMLS on the delivery of your policy document. For cancellation of policy during the free-look period, the premium paid will be refunded back to your credit card.

After which, you may still be able to terminate your policy at any time, but no premium will be refunded back to you once the free-look period is over. The coverage will then cease with effect from the next premium due date.
