Shunzo Nagahama has been appointed as Vice President Director in Tokio Marine Life Insurance Indonesia since April 2022. He has had over 26 years experience in insurance business at Tokio Marine Group which located in several countries such as Japan, India, Thailand, and United States. Major part of his career experience is strategic corporate planning and implementation and also business process planning for insurance operations. 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Keio University in 1995.

Chong Yoon Hin has been appointed as Director of Finance and Actuarial since July 2016. He has worked over 25 years in the life insurance industry in Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesia. Throughout his career, he has actively led and been responsible for a wide range of fields, for instance actuarial, product development, financial management, capital management, reinsurance and strategic planning.

Chong Yoon Hin completed his Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, U.S.A and his Master in Business Administration at University Putra Malaysia in 1992 and 1997 respectively. He also earned the title of Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) in the United States in 2007.

Florence Army (“Vonny”) has been appointed as Compliance Director since December 2019, responsible of Legal, Compliance & Corporate Secretary. She has worked over 15 years in the Life Insurance industry, especially in Legal & Compliance and joined the Company since January 2013. 

Vonny got her law degree from Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia in 2007.  She has Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) and Associate Insurance Regulatory Compliance (AIRC) certification from LOMA and Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional – International (CCEP-I). She is also qualified as a QCRO - Qualified Chief Risk Officer and hold advocate license from Indonesian Bar Association (PERADI).

Shigeru Taguchi serves as Commissioner of PT Tokio Marine Life Insurance Indonesia since June 2023. Currently, he also serves as Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Life) at Tokio Marine Asia Pte. Ltd. since April 2023. He started joining Tokio Marine Group in 1989 and has extensive experiences in corporate planning, corporate accounting, and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).

Shigeru Taguchi holds a Fellow of Institute of Actuaries of Japan (FIAJ), Chartered Member of the Securities Analysis Association of Japan (CMA), and Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA).

Dr. Franciskus Antonius Alijoyo, MM, MBA, ERMCP, CERG serves as Independent Commissioner of TMLI since 2014 and also sits as the Chair of Risk Management Committee and Vice Chair of Audit Committee. He has more than 30 years of professional experiences in various industries, for instance FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods), retail, infrastructure, financial services, professional association and educations which focuses on the GRC (Governance, Risk Management and Compliance) and active in several non-profit organizations.

Antonius Alijoyo completed his Master of Business Administration in Marketing (MBA) and Master of Management (MM) IN Finance in 1988 and 1992 respectively, and then earned his Ph.D in Economics from Parahyangan Catholic University, Bandung in 2013.

Antonius Alijoyo is not affiliated with other members of the Board of Directors and Commissioners, nor of the shareholders.
